The production “Transfer!” from Wrocławski Teatr Współczesny was be presented again, for the fourth time, in France. In May (22 and 23) it was invited to Lille, to the Theatre Festival „Europe XXL”; in September (17 - 19) it was hosted in Lyon at „Sens Interdits”; in November (11 and 12) it was presented to the audience of the „Festival d'Automne” in Paris. In each of those places, the audience received the performance with a standing ovation. Visits at international festivals brought this production more invitations to foreign tours.
The production was shown on 11 and 12 December in Reims at the Festival Scènes d'Europe.
„Transfer!”, opened 3 years ago, on 18 November 2006, tells the story of common people – Poles and Germans – in the background of politicians' arbitrary decisions, resulting in the movement of the borders after World War II and forcing their population to migrate. The script was written on the basis of accounts and memories of living witnesses-participants of those tragic occurrences. The director invited them to tell those stories on stage. Only the roles of the Big Three: Stalin, Churchill and Roosevelt are played by professional actors.
At the end on January (days 30 and 31) and in the beginning of February, after a long pause, „Transfer!” will be presented on its home stage again, at Wrocławski Teatr Współczesny.
